Hi Liza! I just joined the group about a week ago under duress. I have been alone with my twins (and husband), working full-time from home since March - like so many others. Things were getting to the breaking point! Needless to say, I subscribed to your group, found and hired a nanny in two days, and think she is going to be a good fit (we are still in a trial). All in all, I am amazed at the efficiency and camaraderie of this group. It’s been really fantastic. Thank you for your vision.
On another note, I’m wondering if it is possible to upgrade my subscription to annual (from monthly). “What an incredible community and honest platform for parents you have built!
After a going through what we classify as nanny nightmares scams and lies (4 woman in a month) using the usual outlets and regular big name sites & mommy groups we felt defeated and ready to give up. We were trying to figure it out if we keep my mother short term till our baby gets older or dare I say it... daycare? When I stumbled into the Have A Nanny group I actually saw a ray of hope. It was actually moms giving their honest referrals. I did a full day of interviews all from the group - 12 woman in an afternoon speed dating style. We found the holy grail of nannies who has been with us for nearly 2 years now. She is magical and exactly what the mother that referred her to me said she’d be. I am so grateful to the group and all the parents that were honest and put themselves out there.
