Need a doula?

I wanted to reach out and share a little something about me you might not know. As the founder of haveananny.com, you may already be familiar with my passion for supporting families during their most precious moments. We are thrilled to share with you that in addition to our nanny services, I also offer birth and postpartum doula services in NYC.

For the past 8 years, I have proudly served as a doula and Certified Lactation Counselor to moms all around Manhattan. I understand that the birthing process can be overwhelming and emotional, which is why I believe that every expectant parent deserves the support of a doula.

You may be wondering, what exactly is a doula? A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support to parents during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Regardless of how you choose to birth, whether that be at home, in a birth center, or in a hospital, a doula can be a wonderful asset to your birthing team.

Here are just a few of the ways that a doula can benefit you during your birth:

- Emotional support: Birth is a transformative experience that can bring up a wide range of emotions. A doula can be a non-judgmental and compassionate presence who listens and validates your feelings during this time.

- Physical support: Doulas are trained to provide a variety of physical comfort measures during labor, such as massage, breathing techniques, and positioning suggestions.

- Advocacy: A doula can help ensure that your wishes for your birth are respected and communicated to your care providers.

- Informational support: Doulas are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. They can provide evidence-based information to help you make informed decisions about your care.

We know that every birth is unique, and we believe that every family deserves personalized support during this time. If you or someone you know is expecting and could benefit from the support of a doula, we would be honored to be a part of your journey.

Thank you for allowing me to share my doula services with you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions if you’d like to learn more fill out the read more about my journey to becoming a doula and fill out our doula query form here

Liza
